How To Fix "Baby Won't Age Up" Issue

Can't age up your baby after the Growing Together update? Try below solution:

  1. Perform a FACTORY RESET. This process will not delete any of your files as you will essentially be creating a backup of your user data.
  2. After renaming, REPAIR YOUR GAME in the EA app.
  3. START A NEW GAME with no custom content or mods added. If it works, you can start adding your save games, custom content, and mods back in one by one.

Here is the order in which you should add back your files: Options.ini (or reset all your settings manually), Tray Folder, Screenshots/Videos/Custom music, the rest of your save games (excluding slot_00000001.save), custom content such as clothing, hair, skins, and makeup, ConfigOverride (if you have your own configuration files), and finally, mods (one by one, making sure they all still work).

You do not need to put back any other files, as they are mostly cache or log files that are not necessary for the game.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot any issues with The Sims 4 and get back to enjoying the game.
