Either one might seem like a major stumbling block but don't panic just yet!  Sometimes, especially when downloading the game for the first time, this notification pops up, but does not necessarily mean you cannot play The Sims 4. 3) Repair The Sims 4 in Origin
4) Start The Sims 4 in Windowed mode

Sometimes the game misreads your PC’s display information that The Sims 4 is unable to load. Starting The Sims 4 on Windowed mode sometimes solves this.

    a) In Origin, right click on the game tile and select Game Properties.

    b) In the Command Line Arguments box, type -w and click Apply.

    c) Launch the game and check if the video card error is fixed. If not, you may have to upgrade your graphics card/system.
