Enhance pregnancy and parenthood in your game with LoryNa’s mod, featuring pregnancy research, family interactions, newborn care, apps, and support services.
Expanded Pregnancy Interactions by LoryNa expands pregnancy and early parenthood gameplay in The Sims 4 with new phone apps, computer interactions, social features, newborn activities, and support systems for expecting and new parents.
Pregnant Sims gain access to a My Pregnancy app on their phone, where they can track their trimester, learn about pregnancy changes, receive helpful information, chat with other future parents, and access the NooBoo Shop. The mod also introduces Juno Taweret, a doula NPC who can provide advice and support through a phone service.
The computer offers additional pregnancy-related activities, including learning about early pregnancy symptoms, researching pregnancy information, watching educational videos about childbirth, and purchasing a helpful pregnancy book. Completing the available pregnancy research can unlock the Prepared Parent trait, which makes needs decrease more slowly during future pregnancies.
The mod also adds more family interactions. Pregnant Sims can reassure their children and answer questions about an upcoming new sibling, while parents can interact with newborns through activities such as singing a lullaby, looking at the baby, checking on them, trimming their nails, and imagining their future. A baby photoshoot option lets families create keepsakes to remember the newborn stage.
New parents also receive a My Baby phone app with information and services related to caring for their child. The mod includes optional nutrition preferences, babywearing features, and compatibility with Parenting Styles and Pandasama's Childbirth Mod for additional gameplay connections.
Expanded Pregnancy Interactions is Base Game Compatible and currently requires XML Injector, Mood Pack, and Core Library. Some optional features, such as the Maternity Shop, require High School Years, while certain integrations depend on other mods. The creator also notes some compatibility considerations with custom skin and newborn content.
