Dynamic CAS Columns with Thumbnail Size Slider by maru gives players more control over the Create-a-Sim (CAS) interface in The Sims 4. Instead of being limited to the standard catalog layout, you can resize the CAS panel and choose how many item columns are displayed.
The catalog can be adjusted from 2 to 6 columns simply by dragging the edge of the panel, with the changes appearing in real time. A separate thumbnail size slider lets you resize item previews from 50% to 100%, while the catalog automatically rearranges itself to make better use of the available space.
The mod also adds several useful CAS browsing tools. Players can favorite items by right-clicking their thumbnails, view recently selected items through a History panel, preview color variations in a dedicated Swatch Preview panel, and check or remove pieces from the Sim's current outfit through the Current Outfit panel.
Additional CAS playback controls let players pause and resume their Sim's movement while creating a character, including a P-key shortcut for quickly switching between play and pause. Your selected column count and thumbnail size are also saved automatically and restored the next time CAS is opened.
Dynamic CAS Columns with Thumbnail Size Slider is a useful Base Game-compatible CAS utility for players who want a more flexible way to browse custom content, compare outfits, manage favorites, and organize their Create-a-Sim workspace. It may conflict with other mods that change the number of CAS columns.
