How To Fix link2ea Error

This error usually happens to Steam players of The Sims 4.

Here's how you can fix it:

1) Uninstall and reinstall Origin. If you didn't have Origin in the first place, download and install it as it might be the reason you are getting this error.  Origin needs to be linked to your Steam account, otherwise, it won't launch the game.

2) Once you have downloaded / installed Origin, do not launch the game from there, but instead, launch the game on Steam.

If the above doesn't work, make sure your firewall/VPN isn't preventing it and that you have added The Sims 4 and Origin to your antivirus exceptions.

Alternatively, you may also try to repair your game on Steam which helps update the link of your Origin/EA games to Steam.
