The career begins with a main track featuring six levels before splitting into two specialized branches: Clinical Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist. Each path focuses on a different aspect of cardiovascular medicine and offers its own progression toward the highest position at SimCity Hospital.
The Clinical Cardiologist branch centers on diagnosing heart conditions and providing long-term patient care, including managing conditions such as high blood pressure. The Interventional Cardiologist branch focuses on procedures that treat heart problems, including the use of catheters and stents.
Throughout their career, Sims take on responsibilities that reflect the challenges of cardiac medicine, from examining patients and investigating symptoms to responding to time-sensitive medical emergencies. Ultimate Cardiologist is Base Game Compatible and requires the Lot 51 Core Library and XML Injector. Following the August 2026 rebuild, the mod no longer requires a separate script file, making sure players can install the current version with its updated dependencies.
