Gift Simoleons by Simsefin expands money-gifting gameplay in The Sims 4, allowing Sims to give one another larger amounts of money through new social interactions. The mod works with the Base Game, so players can share their Sims’ savings without needing the Seasons expansion pack.
The mod adds multiple gift amounts, ranging from smaller everyday contributions to generous transfers of up to §500,000. This makes it useful for supporting family members who are starting a new household, helping university students living away from home, or passing money between generations as part of family storytelling.
To give money, select another Sim and navigate to Friendly → Affection → Give Gift → Simoleons. The available amounts depend on the giver's age: Children and Teens can give up to §10,000, while Young Adults, Adults, and Elders can gift up to §500,000.
The interaction also includes custom moodlets to make giving and receiving money feel more meaningful. Sims who give money receive a Happy buff lasting two hours, while the recipient gets a Happy buff lasting four hours.
Gift Simoleons is Base Game Compatible and works as a standalone alternative to the money-gifting system introduced with Seasons. It replaces the existing gift-money menu when that expansion is installed, preventing duplicate interactions from appearing.
The mod requires Lot51 Core Library to function. It is a useful addition for players who want more flexible family finances, generous gifts, and money-related storytelling in The Sims 4.
