Explain Problems by YourFalseHope adds a friendly social interaction that gives Sims a more natural way to talk about things that are bothering them with friends and family. The interaction changes depending on the Sim’s current mood, creating more expressive conversations for everyday storytelling.
The “Explain Problems” interaction appears in the Friendly social menu and offers different mood-based variations. An Angry Sim can rant, a Sad Sim can cry about their troubles, while a Tense Sim can vent. Other variations allow Sims to discuss their problems, talk nervously, joke about a situation, approach it confidently, brainstorm solutions, or work through an issue together.
The interaction keeps the subject open-ended, allowing players to decide what each Sim is dealing with rather than following a fixed storyline. This makes the mod useful for family gameplay, friendships, character development, and storytelling.
The interaction can also occur autonomously and is available for Sims from Child through Elder, giving characters more opportunities to express themselves without direct player input.
Updated and Fixed Version
This version has been updated for the current Sims 4 patch and includes a new translation. The update also fixes errors, restores previously non-working moodlets, and addresses issues where interactions could reset unexpectedly.
