Add a Fibromyalgia trait to The Sims 4 with symptoms, sleep and fitness effects, relationship challenges, self-care moodlets, and an updated fix by VA.

Fibromyalgia (FIX by VA) is a health-themed gameplay mod originally created by YourFalseHope and later updated by VA, also known as Cherry Amortense. It adds a Fibromyalgia reward trait for Sims from Teen through Elder, introducing a range of gameplay effects, symptoms, moodlets, and care-related features.

Once the trait is assigned, Sims may have a harder time developing the Fitness skill, while exercise becomes more difficult. Their current wellbeing can also make building friendships and romantic relationships more challenging. The trait affects everyday autonomy as well, encouraging Sims to behave more lazily and experience a stronger need for sleep.

The mod includes symptom-related moodlets, exercise and self-care moodlets, a treatment system, and a friendly interaction that allows Sims to discuss having Fibromyalgia with others. The trait costs 150 Satisfaction Points when obtained through the Reward Store, and the mod requires XML Injector.

Updated and Fixed Version

VA’s update provides full compatibility with the current Sims 4 patch, along with an English translation. It also fixes reported errors and restores moodlets that were no longer working correctly, helping the original mod function more reliably with newer versions of the game.
