Andrew’s Pose Player is one of the most essential mods for The Sims 4, especially for storytellers, machinima creators, or anyone who likes taking staged screenshots. 

How it works
  1. Once installed, it adds a new interaction to Sims called “Pose by Name” or “Pose by Pack.”
  2. Pose by Name → you enter the animation’s internal code (useful for EA animations).
  3. Pose by Pack → lists installed custom poses, usually provided by CC creators.

Why it’s popular
  • Lets you stage Sims in specific positions for screenshots, stories, or social media.
  • Works with couple/group poses when combined with the Teleport Any Sim mod (often used together).
  • Compatible with most custom poses you’ll find online.
