More CAS Trait Pack by maplebell expands personality customization in The Sims 4 with 65 new Create-a-Sim (CAS) traits. The collection introduces a wide variety of personalities, interests, habits, and social behaviors, allowing players to create Sims with more distinctive characteristics and individual preferences.
The traits are organized into four categories: Emotional, Hobby, Lifestyle, and Social. Each category covers different aspects of a Sim's personality, from emotional responses and personal interests to everyday habits and relationships.
Emotional Traits
These traits influence how Sims experience emotions and respond to different situations. Options include Dreamer, Cowardly, Impatient, Love-Struck, Old Soul, Peaceful, Stoic, Warm Hearted, and Clumsy Genius.
Depending on their personality, Sims may experience different moodlets, react differently to negative interactions, or develop certain skills faster. For example, Dreamers thrive in creative activities but struggle with logical skills, while Peaceful Sims prefer avoiding conflict and have an easier time maintaining relationships.
Hobby Traits
Hobby-focused personalities give Sims preferences and advantages related to their favorite activities. The collection includes Baker, Ballerina, Fairy-Tale Fanatic, Fashionista, Hairstyle Hobbyist, Home Chef, Obsessive Collector, and Philosopher.
These traits encourage Sims to enjoy particular hobbies, develop related skills, and receive moodlets from activities they love. A Home Chef, for example, enjoys preparing meals for others, while a Ballerina develops Fitness more quickly and enjoys dancing.
Lifestyle Traits
Lifestyle traits represent personal habits, values, and ways of approaching everyday life. Some available options are Aesthetic Perfectionist, Daredevil, Gamer, Generous, Health Nut, Logical, Minimalist, Natural Beauty, Spiritual, and Unconventional.
Their effects vary from improving skill development and slowing certain needs to influencing how Sims approach challenges and personal routines. Generous Sims, for instance, enjoy sharing their Simoleons with others, while Gamers receive positive emotions from playing video games.
Social Traits
Social personalities influence how Sims communicate, form friendships, and maintain romantic relationships. The collection includes Animal Whisperer, Body Positive, Chatty, Cuddle Bug, Grumpy, Heartbreaker, Shy, Whimsical, and Unforgiving, among others.
These traits can affect relationship progression, social preferences, moodlets, and interactions. Some Sims may find it easier to connect with others, while others struggle with social situations or hold onto negative experiences.
Modular Trait Collection
One of the most convenient features of More CAS Trait Pack is its modular installation system. Each of the 65 traits has its own separate file, allowing players to keep only the personalities they want without installing the entire collection.
The October 2026 update also improves several trait effects, fixes repeated moodlets, restores missing interaction outcomes, and updates trait descriptions to better reflect their actual gameplay behavior.
More CAS Trait Pack is Base Game Compatible and does not require XML Injector or Lumpinou's Mood Pack. Some additional features use optional expansion content: Get to Work provides extra baking functionality for the Baker trait, while Parenthood adds certain character value effects to selected traits.
The updated collection replaces the previous numbered More CAS Traits downloads, Patreon Request Traits, and Valentine's traits. Players who used earlier versions should remove those files before installing the new collection. The included Maplebell Traits - Required folder and script files must remain installed, and Script Mods must be enabled.
More CAS Trait Pack is a great addition for players who want more personality variety, individualized Sim behaviors, and greater freedom when creating unique characters in The Sims 4.
