Sea-nery Stuff by SpinningPlumbobs is a Build/Buy set focused on the ocean, marine life, and underwater scenery in The Sims 4. It adds a collection of decorative objects inspired by The Sims 3: Island Paradise, updated to fit The Sims 4 while introducing additional functionality to selected items.
Most of the set is decorative, making it useful for creating underwater scenes, pools, aquariums, and ocean-themed builds. Among the featured objects are animated Harvestable Kelp, Fan Coral, Sand Bed, Basking Rock, and an Underwater Cave.
The Harvestable Kelp can be harvested when the Expanded Mermaids mod is installed. The kelp was expanded in a 2026 update to include multiple variants that can produce different edible kelp types when used with Expanded Mermaids. The Fan Coral and Sand Bed can also function as small aquariums, allowing fish to swim inside them and making them especially useful for creating larger underwater displays.
The Basking Rock works as a nautical-style lounge chair with special animations for mermaids. With City Living installed, mermaids can also use it for singing-related interactions. The set's latest updates also added animated seaweed to the basic Underwater Cave and made additional adjustments for compatibility with SpinningPlumbobs' newer underwater gameplay.
The decorative objects are Base Game compatible. Island Living is needed for mermaid-specific interactions, City Living is required for singing interactions on the Basking Rock, and Expanded Mermaids is required for harvesting kelp.
