Secret Affairs by NoblesseOG adds a more detailed and story-driven affair system to The Sims 4. Instead of treating cheating as a single reaction, the mod tracks secret relationships between specific Sims and allows an affair to develop over time through emotional and physical interactions.

The system is opt-in, so players can decide which Sims participate. Affairs can begin with growing emotional closeness and progress through romantic interactions, while the official partner may gradually become suspicious. Sims can question their partner, confront them, or discover the affair through accumulated suspicion or by witnessing certain interactions.

Once an affair is exposed, the consequences can affect romance, friendship, buffs, and relationships. Visible hickeys, warnings from friends or neighbors, and the reveal of the affair partner can add further complications. The betrayed partner and affair partner can also receive rivalry interactions after the secret is uncovered.

The story can eventually reach a final relationship decision, allowing Sims to attempt to rebuild their relationship, separate, or choose a different path involving the affair partner. The mod supports married, engaged, significant, and promised relationships and is Base Game Compatible.
