Give your Sims a new career featuring lost item searches, archives, returns, auctions, and unique career paths.
Lost Property by OtterStudio adds a brand-new Lost and Found career to The Sims 4, giving Sims the opportunity to sort, identify, return, and track missing belongings. The career begins with a shared starting branch before opening into three specialized career paths at Level 5.
During the first four levels, Sims work in general Lost and Found positions, handling misplaced items and helping visitors. Once they advance, they can specialize in the Claims and Returns Department, Archives and Identification, or Search and Auctions, with each branch offering its own schedule, pay, career progression, and skill requirements.
The Claims and Returns branch focuses heavily on customer service and interactions with other Sims. Archives and Identification centers on cataloging, researching, repairing, and examining found objects, while Search and Auctions combines physical activities, item searches, and auction-related work.
The career includes 12 workplace events, 16 custom social interactions, and 10 new moodlets, with different experiences depending on the chosen specialization. Sims also receive changing daily tasks related to their department, while their working hours gradually become shorter as they progress through the career.
Required skills vary by specialization, including Charisma, Logic, and Fitness, with higher positions also involving Handiness and Mischief. With multiple career branches, unique schedules, and plenty of workplace interactions, Lost Property adds a detailed new profession for Sims who enjoy collecting, investigating, and returning misplaced items.
