Severe Anxiety Trait by Viwdor is a custom trait mod for The Sims 4 that adds a more challenging emotional and social experience for Sims who receive the trait. It is designed around severe anxiety as a fictional gameplay mechanic, introducing custom effects that can make managing emotions and relationships more difficult.

The trait adds custom anxiety-related and scared mood effects, along with modifiers that can influence a Sim's mood, skills, and relationships. These effects are intended to make everyday social situations and emotional management more challenging for Sims with the trait.

The trait is available through the Emotion category in Create-a-Sim and can be assigned to Sims from the Child life stage onward. This makes it possible to incorporate the mechanic into family gameplay, storytelling saves, and longer-running generational households.

Because the mod uses a real-world mental-health condition as a gameplay feature, it should be understood as a fictional representation for Sims storytelling rather than an accurate depiction of anxiety disorders or a source of medical information.
