Prayer Mini Mod by scandisim is a neat gameplay enhancement for The Sims 4 that allows your Sims to engage in a meaningful prayer interaction using a custom prayer book object. In normal gameplay your Sims don’t have a dedicated item or interaction for prayer, but this mod introduces a build-buy object (a prayer book) costing Simoleons, with multiple swatches and a custom animation, which lets Sims choose between two prayer options—a general prayer or a prayer for good fortune—and depending on the outcome they receive a buff or small blessing of Simoleons, adding a lovely immersive touch to spiritual or historical builds.

Praying with the mod is available for Sims in the Teen through Elder age ranges, meaning teens, young adults, adults and elders can use the prayer book and perform the interaction. Children and toddlers are not included in this feature, so it’s designed for Sims old enough to engage in more reflective actions. The prayer book object is found in Build/Buy mode, costs about 100 Simoleons, comes in three aesthetics (medieval in English, medieval in Simlish, and a plain Simlish version) so you can match it to a historical or modern build. Because it uses a new custom animation the visual feels distinct, and the mod also requires another mod (Lumpinou’s Mood Pack) to ensure the mood buffs work correctly.

This mod is ideal for players doing historical, storytelling, or spiritual-themed gameplay where they want Sims to have a moment of meditation or reflection rather than only the usual hobby or skill interactions. It doesn’t overhaul a large system or disrupt lots of gameplay—it simply adds a small atmospheric feature, which means it’s lightweight and can slot into your existing mod list without major conflicts. For best results you’ll want to place the prayer book object where Sims can route to it (the creator notes that if it’s placed somewhere unreachable the Sim may perform a random animation instead of the prayer). Once installed it runs automatically, and your teens through elders will have a new interaction “Pray” from the prayer book.

For players who enjoy building religious settings, historical recreations, or just want a unique reflective interaction for their older Sims, the Prayer Mini Mod adds a meaningful little layer of depth. It’s easy to install, unobtrusive, and brings a small but thoughtful addition to your Sims’ lives.
