PlumbBuddy is a new app designed by Sims 4 players, for Sims 4 players, to simplify mod installation and game configuration. The app helps identify issues with missing files or incorrect mod setups. When modders include manifests with their mods, PlumbBuddy can determine which files are required for the mod to function correctly. It will alert you if any files are missing or if you've installed multiple versions of a mod where only one should be selected.

PlumbBuddy as an external app is an optional tool and is not required for mods to function. When you use it, any mod with manifests will appear in its catalog, making it easier for you to resolve installation issues.
