What the Mod Does
It gives you the ability to interrupt or cancel specific actions that Sims are autonomously performing (e.g., cooking, cleaning, chatting, grilling, etc.) without globally turning off autonomy.
Useful for players who want to maintain some autonomy but prevent specific behaviors in the moment.
Core Features
Real-Time Intervention: When a Sim starts doing something you don’t want, you can select “Hey! Don’t Do That!” to stop the action.
Customizable Blocking: The mod typically adds a pie menu or quick interaction that lets you stop certain categories of actions such as:
- Cooking
- Grilling
- Cleaning
- Computer usage
- Playing instruments
- Mischief interactions
Applies to Household Sims and sometimes NPCs: You can target both your own Sims and others on the lot.
How It Works
When you see a Sim about to perform an interaction you dislike, click on them and choose the “Hey! Don’t Do That!” option.
The interaction cancels immediately, and in some versions, Sims receive a mild reaction to being stopped (such as looking annoyed or embarrassed).
Some versions allow persistent blocking for the session (e.g., no grilling for the rest of the day).

- Prevents Sims from autonomously sabotaging your plans (like cooking before a party, or using a grill when you want to save food costs).
- Reduces frustration without disabling autonomy completely.
