Active Daycare Career

How Daycare Career Works:

The Daycare Teacher career is similar to other careers in the game. When your sim's work time arrives, you can choose to accompany them to the daycare center venue and guide them through their workday.

About Daycare Venue:

This mod introduces a new type of venue, allowing your sim to actively work at the daycare center. Your sims can also bring their own toddlers to the venue for socializing, even if they're not in the daycare career. Any lot can be turned into a daycare by changing its venue type to 'Daycare.' To follow your sim to work, you need to set up a daycare lot with the appropriate venue type.

At-Home Daycare Career:

This functions like the Get-To-Work Career but from your sim's home. It's inspired by The Sims 3's Daycare Profession.

How It Operates:

Your workday starts at 9 am when children are dropped off, concluding at 7 pm. The number of toddlers/children you care for depends on your career level. You'll earn 120 simoleons per child per day, along with a weekly stipend based on your career level.

Career Levels and Details:

Amateur Babysitter: Care for 2 toddlers. Weekly Stipend: $100*

Cool Care-Giver: Care for 3 toddlers. Weekly Stipend: $200*

Daycare Dynamo: Care for 3 toddlers. Weekly Stipend: $300*

Good Guardian: Care for 3 toddlers & 2 School-Aged Children. Weekly Stipend: $400*

Daycare Specialist: Care for 3 toddlers & 3 School-Aged Children. Weekly Stipend: $500*

MOD REQUIREMENTS:
A Venue List (This is needed for the venue type to be shown in the game. Without a venue list, you won't be able to follow your sim to work)

Note: LMS recently retired her venue list and is recommending to use Basemental's instead. If you have Basemental's list and cannot use custom venues in the new world, please make sure you have the most recent version.
