How Less Dorm Roommates mod works is by reducing the amount of beds required in a dorm lot, therefore reducing the amount of roommates you get. The new cap for lot residents is 6, however the bed requirement displays in-game as 4.
How Less Dorm Roommates mod works is by reducing the amount of beds required in a dorm lot, therefore reducing the amount of roommates you get. The new cap for lot residents is 6, however the bed requirement displays in-game as 4.
I find that with the default number of roommates (8) my game gets very laggy, so having less roommates is a good way to reduce the lag I get when I play in dorm lots without removing all of the immersion.
Make sure to delete any extra beds in premade lots, or only place the amount for how many roommates you want if you're making your own dorm. This is because the game appears to generate roommates based on the number of beds on the dorm lot.
