It also stops the awkward “fire dance” animation when Sims come into contact with flames outside the home. With this mod active, gameplay becomes safer and less disruptive, allowing players to focus on storytelling and everyday life without constant fire disasters.

Gameplay Effects & Functionality

Once installed, No Housefire prevents spontaneous house fires from starting due to normal in-game actions. The mod preserves intentional or scripted fires that the game expects but removes random destructive ones.
