Common Issues After Snowy Escape Update

"Sims 4: Snowy Escape" is currently experiencing severe crashes on both PCs and consoles, possibly due to the latest update released by "The Sims" team on Nov. 10.

Despite the update aiming to address long-standing issues and introduce new features like Sentiments and platforms, players have reported increased game crashes upon installation. Initially reported by PC players, the problem later extended to console users, sparking speculation about the cause.

To mitigate crashing, players are advised to uninstall any backup custom content and script mods before downloading the update. They can then reinstall mods once they're updated to match the latest official version. While "The Sims" team attributes the issue to mods rather than the update, doubts arise as console players cannot use script mods.

Players are encouraged to submit crash reports via "The Sims" website, ensuring they select the correct platform when doing so.

Despite these issues, "Sims 4: Snowy Escape" has yet to receive new Lifestyles. The Sentiments system, introduced in the latest patch, enhances character interactions by allowing Sims to create and experience memories differently, fostering stronger bonds. However, the promised exclusive Lifestyles system for "Sims 4: Snowy Escape" has yet to be implemented, despite the game's focus on habits and exploration within Mount Komorebi.
