Madam Simovar – The Potion Seller by lotharihoe introduces a new NPC to The Sims 4 who sells magical potions to Sims, including those who aren't Spellcasters. With enough Simoleons, ordinary Sims can also access the alchemy system and purchase potions to help fulfill their needs and desires.
There are two ways to meet Madam Simovar. She can appear automatically at certain community venues, such as Bars and Lounges, where players may find her drinking, dancing, or practicing magic. She won't normally appear at Residential lots or venues with more specific functions, such as Restaurants and Gyms.
Players can also request her services directly through the phone. A new option called Madam Simovar's Home Service appears under the Hire Services menu. For §75, she will visit your Sim's home and offer her potion-selling services.
Once Sims meet Madam Simovar, they can tell her what they want and choose how much they are willing to pay. Based on their request and offered amount, she provides a suitable potion that can be found in the Sim's inventory.
The mod also includes an option to control where Madam Simovar appears. By interacting with a door, players can select Disallow Madam Simovar to prevent her from spawning on a particular lot. This setting can be reversed whenever they want her to return.
The Sims 4: Realm of Magic is required for the potion system to function. The mod also requires XML Injector version 4 or newer.
Madam Simovar – The Potion Seller is a fun addition for players who enjoy magical storytelling, potion collecting, and supernatural gameplay. It also gives non-Spellcaster Sims a convenient way to access alchemy potions without learning magic themselves.
