Take A Nap With Child by simkatu adds a sweet interaction to The Sims 4 that allows adult Sims to take a nap alongside a child. It creates a cozy family moment while giving Sims another way to rest and strengthen their relationships.
The “Nap Together” interaction becomes available in the Friendly category when an adult and a child are sitting close together on a sofa or bench. The adult must be a family member or a good friend of the child. The shared nap lasts approximately two in-game hours, with slightly different animation styles available depending on the Sims' gender.
During the nap, both Sims benefit from improved Energy and Social needs, while their relationship improves slightly. The interaction also provides a custom moodlet, and Sims experiencing grief can receive an additional benefit when The Sims 4: Life & Death expansion pack is installed.
The mod also supports autonomous interactions. When Sims have low Energy and are sitting close to each other, they may decide to nap together without direct player commands.
Take A Nap With Child is Base Game Compatible and requires the XML Injector. The Life & Death expansion pack is only needed for the additional grief-related benefit.
This mod is a lovely addition for players who enjoy family-oriented gameplay, more natural interactions between adults and children, and small everyday moments that make Sims' relationships feel more meaningful.
