Unrequited Love (Crush On You)
This mod adds one-sided crushes, romantic feelings, rejection moodlets, and lasting memories.

Unrequited Love, originally created by PLZSAYSIKE and later updated by Cherry Amortense, adds a one-sided crush system to The Sims 4. It allows a Sim to develop romantic feelings for another Sim without automatically changing their existing relationship levels.

A Sim can select another character as their crush through the Romantic menu. Being around their crush can trigger a flirty mood, while Sims with traits such as Loner or Unflirty may instead react with embarrassment.

The mod also adds consequences for romantic rejection. Asking a crush to become a boyfriend or girlfriend ends the crush, while being rejected gives the Sim a sad moodlet lasting one day. The Sim can also retain a memory of the rejection, causing them to feel embarrassed around that person in future interactions.

If the former crush eventually agrees to become their partner, the lingering rejection-related embarrassment can be removed. This creates a simple system for one-sided romance, crushes, rejection, and relationship development, giving players another way to tell personal relationship stories in The Sims 4.
