Open Careers
This mod by CyborgE expands active gameplay with workplace objectives, changing career tasks, challenges, and interactive opportunities for eligible Sims (Requires Get to Work Expansion Pack).


Open Careers by CyborgE is a gameplay mod for The Sims 4 that expands the active career experience beyond the professions included with the Get to Work expansion. Instead of sending Sims off to work on their own, the mod allows players to follow eligible Sims to their workplaces and take part in career-specific objectives and tasks. As Sims progress through their careers, the goals and requirements can change with their level, while strong performance and completing daily objectives can contribute to promotions. Higher career levels may also introduce additional challenges and field-based tasks, making everyday work more interactive. The mod supports adult careers and also includes selected active opportunities for teen Sims, including fast-food and barista work, giving players more control over how their Sims spend their working hours.
