This mod replaces the default painting animation with one where Sims sit on a bar stool while painting on small and medium canvases. For larger canvases, the game’s original animation remains in place.
Sims may rise briefly if distracted during painting, but they will sit back down—this behavior reflects the flow of the updated animation.
Additional Features
Functional Mini Easels: Includes small easels that can be placed on tables and function just like regular easels. These come with all base-game swatches and require the bb.moveobjects cheat for placement.
Canvas & Frame Overrides: Offers three styles of canvas frames (different colors), all with greater thickness for realism. Only one version should be installed to avoid conflicts.
Compatibility Notes
Intended for Teen to Elder age groups. It is not compatible with the “Kids Sims Can Paint” mod.
The mini easels and canvas frames are designed to be compatible with any painting override mods. However, there’s a compatibility issue with certain overrides like "No Fade On Everything"—make sure to cross-check if using that mod.
