The Necromania reward trait is a creepy-cool addition, purchasable from the Reward Store for 2,000 Satisfaction Points.
When active, it replaces the usual sad moodlet Sims get upon witnessing a death with a +2 Confident buff, called "Friend of Death," meaning they feel oddly elated instead of sad.
The trait does not remove the ability for Sims to still feel grief—such as mourning at a tombstone—so emotional responses can remain intact when a death is meaningful.
Additionally, Sims receive the positive buff even when encountering the Grim Reaper, reinforcing their fascination with death.
Gameplay Notes
This trait is perfect for storytelling or gameplay styles involving dark humor, increasingly macabre Sims, or occult themes.
It's often used with mods or narratives involving deranged creators, spellcasters, or legacy plots where emotional detachment from death fits the character.
