The “Knit Quickly – Perform Knitting Interactions Faster” mod for The Sims 4 shortens the time it takes Sims to knit. Normally, knitting projects can take a long time, but this mod lets you choose between different speed options: about 10%, 30%, or 50% of the original knitting duration. That means your Sim can finish projects up to ten times faster, depending on the version you install.
You only install one version at a time (fast, medium, or slower boost). It modifies the knitting interaction tuning so that both small and large knitting projects are completed faster.
One side effect is that the animation doesn’t fully line up—the Sim may stop knitting abruptly once the project is done. The creator mentioned this is a limitation, but it doesn’t break gameplay.
There can be minor conflicts if you use other mods that change knitting behavior. At the fastest speed, some players have noticed Sims might get stuck knitting nonstop; if that happens, you can reset the Sim to break the loop.
Overall, it’s a quality-of-life mod that makes knitting more playable, especially for storytelling or for Sims running knitting businesses.
