Tiny Homes - Changed Tile Limits

The base game limits tile counts for Tiny Living lots as follows:
  • Small Home: up to 100 tiles
  • Tiny Home: up to 64 tiles
  • Micro Home: up to 32 tiles

These thresholds are part of the Tiny Living Stuff Pack’s challenge system, providing unique in-game buffs depending on your build tier.

What the Mod Changes
Simmytime’s mod allows you to adjust these limits by choosing from different tile thresholds. Multiple versions are available, so you only install one:

Expanded Limits:
  • 2,000 / 1,500 / 1,000 tiles
  • 1,500 / 1,000 / 500 tiles
  • 1,000 / 500 / 200 tiles
  • 500 / 200 / 100 tiles
  • 200 / 100 / 64 tiles

Challenge Mode (Reduced Limits):
  • 64 / 32 / 16 tiles
  • 32 / 16 / 8 tiles (for an extreme, minimalist experience)

Each number triplet corresponds to the Small Home, Tiny Home, and Micro Home tiers, respectively.

Compatibility & Mechanics
  • Requires: Tiny Living Stuff Pack
  • The mod updates the tuning resource that governs tiny home thresholds.
  • Only one version should be active at a time to avoid conflicts.
  • If you exceed 999 tiles, the game UI may cap the display at "999"—only a cosmetic issue; the game still recognizes the true count.
  • Gallery uploads work normally with this mod if the recipient has the same version installed.
  • Removing or switching the mod later adjusts how existing builds are categorized, but won't break them.
  • No known major conflicts beyond needing to use only one version.

Why It Matters
  • Lets builders break the vanilla tile limits—great if you're aiming for larger tiny-home-style builds or want more flexibility without losing the tiny home tier system.
  • Useful for storytelling styles like legacy runs or mega-tiny-home communities where the default limits feel restrictive.
  • Optionally, you can increase the challenge with lower tile thresholds for compact, minimalist designs.
  • Preserves in-game buffs tied to tiny home tiers, so build-level rewards still apply.
