Sims can choose between hospital births (natural or C-section) with optional epidurals, or home births attended by a midwife.

Sims may also face birth emergencies, such as stalled labor or complications requiring emergency interventions.

Sims use their phone to call an obstetrician, schedule pregnancy checkups, or arrange ultrasound scans.
Medical interactions include dilation checks, epidural administration, and the option to monitor pregnancy complications like PPROM or placental ruptures—which may result in premature births or require neonatal intensive care settings.
Birth Certificate & Ancillaries
Sims receive a customizable birth certificate after delivery.
Following childbirth, features like lactation enable pumping (with bottles to inventory), breast pad usage, formula creation, and milk storage.
Postpartum dynamics include issues like stretch marks (optionally toggled), mastitis (treatable with medication), and assistance via pumping or nursing.
Gender Reveal & Family Events
Offers gender reveal parties with interactive items such as balloon arches, cakes, and themed props. Guests can get moodlets based on their guesses and reactions.
Education & Hospital Career System
Sims can attend nursing school as teens or older, complete clinical rotations, and graduate into a midwifery career.
