Enlist In War

This mod adds a new feature to Sims, allowing them to join the military and enlist in a war. It was created with the Decades Challenge in mind, simplifying the process of sending Sims to war without using cheats like cowplants or debug options. Even if you're not playing the challenge, you can still use this mod for storytelling and roleplaying.

How to Use:

Click on an active Sim (Teen to Adult).

Navigate to the "Actions..." menu.

You'll find the "Register for the Draft" option.

Your Sim will get a 24-hour moodlet with a countdown to their departure.

If you choose, you can leave immediately while the countdown is active.

After the countdown, your Sim will leave the lot for a few days, and the game will decide their fate.

Outcomes:

By default, there's a 50% chance your Sim will survive or die.

Surviving Sims get the Veteran trait, granting a $600 weekly pension but potential negative moodlets.

Sims who die will collapse near their house, and you can try to save them with the Reaper or Spellcaster familiars. Surviving this way still grants the Veteran trait.

Settings File:

A settings file generates in "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\Kuttoe" after you use the mod.

To adjust settings, open "[Kuttoe] EnlistInWar_Settings.cfg" with Notepad or a text editor.

Change the numbers for desired values; they must be positive.

"days_spent_at_war" controls off-lot time; default 3 days, 1 to 14 days range.

"death_odds_multiplier" adjusts survival odds; default 1 (50% chance), higher values increase odds, lower values decrease them.
