Cotton Processing

This is an expansion to Pied Piper’s Silk Processor system. It allows your Sims to transform harvested cotton into usable, sellable cotton yarn, following a process similar to silk production.

How It Works
Once installed, the Silk Processor gains a new interaction option called “Spin Cotton.” This requires your Sim to have seven units of harvested cotton in their inventory. After spinning, you receive a cotton yarn. You can then dye the yarn by using henna powder—five henna powders plus one cotton yarn yields a dyed yarn.

Selling Cotton Yarn
Dyed cotton yarns can be sold for profit—standard cotton yarn sells for a set price (about 60 simoleons), while dyed yarn sells for a higher amount (around 80 simoleons).

If you also have the Silk Farm installed, you can sell the yarn directly to the Textile Manufacturing Factory. Without the Silk Farm, your Sim can only list it for sale using normal marketplace methods (like Plopsy).

Editor's Note:
Pied Piper’s Cotton Processing mod enhances textile crafting in The Sims 4 by enabling cotton yarn production, dyeing, and selling—adding more depth to your Sim's crafting and farming gameplay.
