The Veterinary Technician Career mod is a custom career for The Sims 4, originally created by ItsKatato and now maintained by Shino Nox. It allows Sims to work in veterinary support roles rather than just running a vet clinic.
Overview
Adds a 10-level career track starting with entry-level positions like Pet Store Cashier and working up to Certified Veterinary Technician.
At the top level, the career splits into four specialties:
- Surgical CVT Specialist
- Equine CVT Specialist
- Zoo Medicine CVT Specialist
- Critical Care CVT Specialist
Gameplay Features
- Sims can study veterinary medicine on the computer with a new “Study Vet Med” interaction.
- Career shifts typically run from 7 AM to 3 PM, offering steady work hours.
- Salaries and responsibilities scale up as Sims progress through the levels.
- Designed to feel like a supportive, hands-on role in animal care rather than the business side of veterinary work.
