University Application Overhaul

Adeepindigo’s University Application Overhaul is a mod that makes The Sims 4: Discover University application process much more realistic and challenging. Instead of every Sim being able to get accepted easily, the system now factors in effort, skills, and personality.

Overhauled Acceptance System
Acceptance is no longer guaranteed. Sims are judged on their grades, skills, extracurricular activities, traits, and career experience. High-achieving Sims are more likely to get into distinguished degrees, while weaker applications may face rejection.

Reputation and Traits
A Sim’s traits and reputation influence their chances. Positive traits like Genius or Bookworm can boost applications, while negative traits or poor reputations can reduce the likelihood of success. Skills tied to degree programs are also important.

Application Essays
Sims must now write an essay as part of the process. The quality of the essay depends on their writing skill, effort, and even mood. A strong essay can make a difference, while a weak one can hold them back.

Letters of Recommendation
Sims can ask mentors, teachers, or other authority figures for recommendation letters. The strength of these letters depends on the Sim’s relationship with the recommender and their performance in school or work.

Realistic Process
Applications take time to process, and results vary. Sims can face not just acceptance but also rejection or waitlisting, which adds more depth to gameplay.

Gameplay Impact
This overhaul makes university admission feel like a real achievement rather than a guarantee. It encourages players to prepare their Sims during their teen years with good grades, skill-building, and activities.

Editor's Note:
Adeepindigo’s University Application Overhaul transforms university admissions into a more skill-based and personality-driven challenge, giving the pack more weight and storytelling opportunities.
