Small Animal Package expands the base My First Pet Stuff pack by adding a variety of new small animals to Build/Buy mode kits, letting players add more diverse tiny pets without the full pack. These animals include bunnies, chinchillas, chipmunks, degus, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs, lemmings, squirrels, and sugar gliders. In a later release (Part 2), additional species such as skinks, leopard geckos, chameleons, mini pigs, tortoises, iguanas, giant day geckos, long-eared rabbits, and flying squirrels were introduced.
The Kalino also provided six natural-looking cage recolors to complement the new animals and match different interior styles.
Compatibility & Installation
The mod requires My First Pet Stuff, with each small-animal pack provided as a separate download. Once installed, these new creatures appear in Build/Buy mode under pets, complete with cages and accessories.
There are a few minor issues: for example, animals may appear “frozen” or paused in their cages during out-of-home events or visits to simulations like the rocket. These bugs are noted by the creator, who has indicated fixes may come in future updates.
