Overrides of EA Counters:
Versions of existing counters are provided without the backsplash, essentially giving you a “flush” look against the wall. This is done as add-ons, so you still keep the original counters with the backsplash if you want them.
Non-Default Clones:
These are separate, new counter objects that don’t override the originals. They show up as new swatches/objects in Build/Buy mode, allowing you to mix and match—some with backsplashes, some without—in the same kitchen.
Visual Flexibility:
Works especially well in modern builds, island kitchens, and areas where the backsplash looks awkward (such as counters not placed against walls).
Compatibility:
Base Game counters are supported, and usually expansions’ counters as well (depending on how complete the creator made the set). Since they’re overrides or clones, they should integrate smoothly with EA meshes.
