Use any decorative or custom crib while the invisible crib handles baby interactions behind the scenes.
Invisible Crib DEFAULT replaces the base game crib for newborn babies with a version that can be made invisible so that you can place any decorative CC crib or surface while retaining baby interactions.
Key Features
This mod offers three swatches with visible anchors (grey round spots) so you can move or remove the crib when needed, plus a fourth swatch that makes the crib fully transparent. It’s a repaint of the base crib, does not change functionality, and works with game versions up to 1.99.
Requirements & Compatibility
Base game compatible. Works best if no other default crib overrides are installed. May conflict with baby skin override mods: custom baby skins often revert to the default when this mod is active.
Mod Release Date
Initial Release: April 1, 2021.
Gameplay Role / Impact
This mod is mostly aesthetic, allowing builders to use CC cribs or decorative pieces while preserving game functionality of newborn cribs. It makes nurseries more customizable without sacrificing baby mechanics.
Community Feedback
Players generally praise this mod for how clean and useful it is in decorating nurseries and using custom furniture. Some report issues with pathfinding if items are placed too close, skin tone overrides not showing correctly, or needing to use the anchor/transparent swatch properly.
